About
Twenty years inside UK accounting technology. The AI Register exists because the problems it prevents are real — and preventable.

Founder, PPCS
Sal Nasser spent two decades building, implementing, and securing accounting systems across the UK. As co-founder of Capium — one of the UK's leading cloud accounting platforms — and in his role managing professional services across IRIS, the UK's largest accounting software group, he worked with hundreds of practices of every size.
He watched AI tools arrive in accounting practices the same way cloud software did a decade earlier: quickly, informally, and without governance. Staff started using ChatGPT for client emails. AI features appeared in bookkeeping software. Copilot arrived on firm laptops. And most practices had no record, no policy, and no oversight.
He built the AIGAS AI Register because the conversations that follow AI incidents — with clients, insurers, and regulators — are avoidable. The tool exists to prevent them.
“I've seen errors reach clients. PI claims with no documentation. Data breaches no one could account for. Every time, the same absence: no record of what tools were in use or how they were governed. The AI Register exists because those conversations don't need to happen.”
Prime PC Services (PPCS) is a cybersecurity and AI governance specialist working exclusively with UK accounting and bookkeeping practices. PPCS works directly with firms of all sizes — from sole practitioners to mid-size regional practices — to build practical, proportionate governance frameworks.
AIGAS™ — the AI Governance Assurance Standard — is a PPCS initiative, developed with input from accounting practitioners, regulatory advisers, and professional indemnity specialists.
